Christmas Panto Waltham Forest.
The magic of theatre is to be found this Christmas
in the Wadham players family pantomime production of Aladdin. An
original script and traditional songs underpin this timeless classic.
Boo the villian, cheer the heros and expect a happy ever after ending.
This traditional family pantomime is set in old Peeking
and featres some of the most famous of panto characters. Widow Twanky
struggles with the washing, the evil Abanazar wants to rule the
world while the princess so shy just wants to mary the boy of her
dreams Aladdin. Aladdin is the pennyless son of the widow twanky
but is banished from the kingdom by the Emperor. The Genie of the
ring helps Alladin find the magic lamp that controls the power of
the Gennie of the lamp bringing him great fortune.
The wadham players is an multi awad winning amature dramatic group
that puts on several shows a year and is open to new members who
want to tread the bords or work back stage. Putting on shows like
aladdin or more serious productions are always fun and new members

This years panto is to be staged at the forest comunity theatre
and is set to be a treat for the whole family.
Not aiming to compete with the west end Disney version
of Aladdin this local production has tickets priced at £5 to £8
and several performances are available.
